PINS: PHILIPPINES PREMIER NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE SCHOOL.
Since 1988, PINS have developed responsible natural health practitioners and are now known as the leaders of alternative health care in the country.
The Philippine Institute of Naturopathic Sciences (PINS) is the new name of the school that started teaching Iridology 25 years ago. It was then named the Iridology Foundation of the Philippines (IFP) and it was the pioneer in the natural health revolution of the early eighties. It opened the eyes of many of our countrymen to the wonderful miracles that nature cure can bring.
Our Mission is to seek and teach each student how to be truly healthy and to make them instruments to teach others to be healthy too. They have to “walk their talk”.
Your Pathway To Health - The basic and first certificate course offered by IFP then was “Iridology and its Correlation to Nutrition.” Over 15,000 students have now graduated from this basic course and majority have enhanced their education by adding the other courses given by PINS like Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Holistic Nutrition and Natural Therapies, Natural Assessment Tools, Emotional Healing, Naturopathic Addiction Recovery Seminar, Integrative Sclerology, Eyeology, Anatomy and Physiology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Healthy Cooking among others.
And so from our base course of Comprehensive Iridollogy, which now follows the international curriculum of the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA) so all graduates can take the examination for international certification, we have added the courses to get the basic degree called CNP which is now given by our own Department of Health through the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care or PITAHC.

LEVEL UP YOUR CAREER WITH PINS NATUROPATHY!
PINS partners with SCNM of the USA for its Naturopathic Doctor (ND) Degree.
The long time dream of our founder Ma. Elizabeth Micaller PhD, ND to have an accredited Naturopathic Degree or ND degree available here in the Phippinines is now a reality with the partnership for educational collaboration with the Arizona, USA based SOTHWEST COLLEGE OF NATURAL MEDICINE AND HEALTH SCIENCES (SCNM).
Meetings with the Chairman of the Board, President and Board of Trustees of SCNM with PINS founder last August 20, 2015; resulted with numerous ideas for the mutual collaboration and benefit of both schools. This is the birth of the global standardization of the Naturopathic Degree using the approved curriculum from the Council on Naturopathic Education of the USA and the Higher Learning Commision of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. SCNM has also approvals to offer the ND degree from the Arizona Naturopathic Physicians Board of Medical Examiners and the Arizona State Board of Private Post secondary Education.
Now, PINS has started the ball rolling to have the ND degree using the same SCNM curriculum to have it approved by our own Commission on Higher Education or CHED.
Naturopathic Medicine concentrates on the whole person wellness, the medicine is tailored to the patient and emphasizes prevention and self care as opposed to the symptomatic treatment of vaious health conditions. Naturopathic Doctors are primary care physicians clinically trained in part from a Hippocratic teaching more than 2000 years old : Mediatrix naturae... Nature is the healer of all dieseases.
Now PINS will ensure that we will have Naturoapthic doctors readily available in the Phipippines.

2015
Philippine Institute of Naturopathic Sciences has just partnered with the Southwest College of Natural Medicine of Arizona USA. An educational collaboration has been agreed between the two institutions and the curriculum for the Naturopoathic Doctor degree will be adopted by PINS. This will now establish a real Naturopathic Physician degree in the Philippines.
2013
Philippine Institute of Naturopathic Sciences has just partnered with the Family Life and Wellness Institute, De La Salle Zobel and the Makati Medical Center College to jointly offer the new NHC and CNP certificate courses and the Naturopathic Degree. All three institutions believe that the foundation of health care is education.
We have a multidisciplinary curriculum in science based Natural Medicine with the emphasis of integrating body, mind, spirit and nature. PINS as the pioneer and leader in Alternative Medicine since its first courses on Iridollogy in 1988 now it continues to be in the forefront of teaching the most effective methods of natural healing in the country by leading professionals and experts in the industry.
Our goal for each NHC, CNP, CMN and ND is to be able to help patients and clients easily and effortlessly, with the end goal of making each one realize that they are the captains of their own body and soul.
Once the cause of the disease is known, using mainly the natural assessment tools of Iridollogy and Sclerology, Holistic Nutrition gives the necessary tools to insure the correct food intake of a patient/client for proper absorption and assimilation. Natural Dietary Therapies can also be started. If immediate remedies are called for then Homeopathy, Acupuncture and other Energy Medicine modalities are applied among others. We realize that almost all ailments have an emotional cause and different emotional release therapies can be used to relieve negative disease causing emotions.
This process we have used thousands of times to lead the pathway to perfect health. This same pathway is what PINS aims to teach to all NHC hopefuls. This is the same path that we will teach the many who will enter our doors to re-learn how to be in perfect health.
PINS is here to educate the Leaders of Natural Health!
